Do any of you go past Canada on your journeys?

OK, no objections so far.

Three questions.

1) does this new forum need managing. Should couriers earn "stars"

2) Should we suggest (insist) on a strict policy of creation of threads. (from - to - what in heading with further details in thread)

3) Should we limit it to members only (pros & cons. Non-members will gain a benefit but will also provide a service.)

Just my opinion but wouldn't adding "stars" make it a little too complicated?

I would have thought making it members only would add a bit of security for the people that are having the items moved? A registered user could in theory sign on with fake details and pinch the items could they not?

But only if we meet up in England, can't drink this fizzy stuff they make here.

However a pint or 3 of red wine.....

Basically a personal, wscc specific, shiply?

The security question crossed my mind. No problem to me to keep it to members.

The "stars" were to indicate who was willing to pick up stuff rather than "points make prizes". However I agree it'll probably be more trouble than it's worth.

Good idea Norman well highlighted. Did you notice on another thread that SteveD has offered to bring a cherished car up from a distance to Cheshire as he is going that way to sort out a trailer, lets hope it all works out for them both. Good to see a bit of co-operation and help here, that is typical Steve though. I would be up for offering transport if I were going that way and commute most days between South Manchester and Cheshire which isn't far but could help out any transfers of legal substances between the Mancs and the Cheshire set. If nothing else it could provide a bit of a relay service. Nothing is impossible, well apart from understanding a womans mind that is.

Understanding a women's mind!

I've been trying to understand my woman's mind for 43 years and I'm no nearer an answer.

You're right - it is impossible.

Can someone transport me to Normans Gite, sounds like a nice place. Need a break from work. You'll get 5 Stars.

Yes, I'll get one of those coming later to collect you.

Mind you, they have to go via Canada so you may be a bit delayed.

If you go via Canada, you can pop into our place pick up a bottle of wine for Norm and drop that off for me.:-)

That's why they have to go via Canada.

Are you in the bit nearest us or furthest from us?
