Just wondering if there are any owners in the Inverness/Moray Firth area as will be moving up there sort of July/August time?

Had a very happy couple of years in Lossiemouth in the mid 90s. Had a bike then (Laverda Jota), and remember that there were some awesome roads up there - the road down to Braemar was a particular favourite which would be great fun in a Westy. I think you're in for a treat.

Yes many many years ago I lived in Forres, then went to Alford Aberdeenshire before heading down to London

I agree there are some great roads across on that side, for example the other day drove Elgin- Rothes -Aberlour- Grantown and it struck me at the time the road was very smooth and ideal for the Westy.

and even the A9 north of Inverness to Thurso would be great fun would be interesting to compare it to my Prodrive tweaked Subaru Sti that I used to take up there in a spirited fashion

Not quite the only one - I stay just north of Inverness.

However have not had much chance to use it in the last couple of years
