Looking very good. A huge amount of pleasure can be enjoyed with a project such as this.

Just be mindful of the amount of construction you make as it would not be difficult to overload the front axle on a 7.5tonne vehicle. I have seen many Horseboxes (non-Luton type body) with built in living quarters that have exceeded the permitted axle weights before the horse is even loaded.

Holy thread Resurrection!  What made you dig this one up @Archibald Meatpants it's over 7 years since the last post before today!

I last saw Phil and his motorhome at Knockhill in 2017. I think I saw his car up for sale not long after that.

Having a class  2 license this makes so much more sense than an expensive motor home and trailer.
