Glen H Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Sorry to break up the battle lads, Wrightster, When I built my previous car with the Weber Alpha carb kit, I bought the throttle position switch ( used to give 3D mapping) direct from Webcon, if you phone them up and tell them you're set up they will be able to advise you of the part reference, If I recall correctly I paid approx. £35 plus postage. If Marcus is reading he has a set of fitting instructions and part numbers in the build file for his car and my be able to bring such info to wednesday's meeting. As mentioned above you need to get you're carb's set up/balanced first and then fit the switch, this simply bolts on to the carbs on the right hand side and has a moving arm that locates onto the end of the throttle mechanism. A basic electrical multimeter is also required to set it correctly, takes about 5-10 minutes. Glen Quote
wrightster Posted May 12, 2003 Author Posted May 12, 2003 right sorted now, 49.00 for TPS from standard autoparts , 70.00 for rollin road session and about 10.00 for fitting TPS sounds reasonablish Quote
