lippydave Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 As a bit of light relief from "Strapline Wars..The T*ts strike back..." I would like to hear your suggestions as to how best you think Potenza/Westfeld could improve their products/range to give a greater appeal to a wider market. My starter for 10.... I think they should develop/resurrect the GTM Libra into a useful cheap fun yet practical coupe with a modern donor and offer franchises to small dealers /garages as approved build centres and or build assist centres. As Lotus appear to want to vacate the lightweight, low volume, fun sports coupe market, whey not take it on? Quote
echoz Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I think they should give me one for free Quote

Mark Stanton Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I reckon we should let them carry on their business in the way they want to - its theirs and up to them Quote

Mark Stanton Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Would you like it if the guys from the factory started posting how the club should be run and what it should say and do or even how you should run your business - I doubt it. The folks at Potenza know what they're doing and have their own plans Quote
thos Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Would you like it if the guys from the factory started posting how the club should be run and what it should say and do or even how you should run your business - I doubt it. Personally, I'd be very interested in feedback from any of my customers. If the factory were members of the club, then they would also be entitled to have their say. I dont see what the problem here is ... Quote

The folks at Potenza know what they're doing and have their own plans I personally wouldn't give a flying wotsit? As a probably the largest group of people who've either bought from the factory or bought one of their vehicles I thought it might be interesting to see what current customers thought of how Westfield could further their potential. This has nothing to do with the factory, it's a free, open debate, about how existing afficiandos would like to see the company and or products develop. Are you suggesting that when we discuss F1 and people suggest a direction or express an opinion it's invalid because it doesn't emanate directly from Ron Dennis or Diddy Bernie? Discussion and opinion is a freedom that we have here, neither Westfield or WSCC are Chinese governed yet... Either way it's more relevant here than a bunch of grown men pontificating about the public use of the word t**s....I mean goodness me even radio2 brodcast the C word.... Quote
adamnreeves Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Mark, I agree to a certain point but I see the comments on their business being made by Dave us as an indication that he we cares much like us all. Also of course we have a vested interest in continuance of the marque. Quote

If the factory were members of the club, then they would also be entitled to have their say. I dont see what the problem here is ... I take all feedback from my customers seriously and if someone comes up with an idea on how to make more money it is up to me as the business owner whether or not I take that advice. I always thought that is how you grow your business but if you want to bury your head in the sand and not be open to new ideas so be it Quote
thos Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 The worst that can happen here is Westfield get a bit of free market research, customer feedback and as above - maybe a good business idea of it! In the meantime, we get to b***h, moan and dream of what Westfield ownership could be like in the future. Everyones happy! Quote
