Matt Seabrook Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 You will not to make a log in. Its shaping up to be a cracking race Quote
oioi Posted June 13, 2010 Author Posted June 13, 2010 great race. be interesting to see which way it will pan out. surprised to see vettel go for the softs. anybodies race- can button make his tyres last better than others? Quote
oioi Posted June 13, 2010 Author Posted June 13, 2010 feel sorry for liuzzi. great quali performance only for it to go all wrong in the first corner Quote
stephenh Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 I think both Massa and Shoemaker have been taking lessons from the Seb Vettel school of motoring! Quote
thos Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Looks like Schuey escaped without penalty too - I thought they might have clamped down on him to make an example and let him know F1 has changed!! Quote
pistonbroke Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Looks like Schuey escaped without penalty too - I thought they might have clamped down on him to make an example and let him know F1 has changed!! Ah! but remember who's in charge , talk about friends reunited , the sausage eater can still walk on water and smirk all over his face got to admit I enjoyed his antics , dont think Massa was impressed too much though Quote
housebeautician Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Good race today and well done to Lewis and Jenson. Schumaker ought to be ashamed of himself, What dreadful driving. stinks of desperation to me and whats worse he got away with it. Alonso on the Podium in third place looked like he had lost 50 quid. No fan of his but must say he pulled a couple of nice moves. Glad to see lewis up where he belongs Quote
oioi Posted June 14, 2010 Author Posted June 14, 2010 cracking race, great fun to watch, but did miss brundle's race analysis. i bet schumacher would havce complained bitterly if soemone had driven like that to him. it wasnt just massa either, but his defending to the force india's was also P**s poor. and what about the renault move into the pits taking of the nose of the force india. that was not exactly clever driving. great race between hamilton, button and alonso. its good to see the top cars circulating so close together and pushing each other. thought this race was the first where the different tyres and regulations to use them actually made the race more interesting. button needs to get to grips with qualifying to be able to push hamilton. Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 At one point Vettel (I think it was) crossed the line with the whole car as he exited the pits. Not the white line that defines the pit exit on the circuit, but the left hand boundary of the pit lane itself where it has just passed the last pit garage. He straight-lined it where others merely grazed the line with their left pair of wheels. If the line is there I assume it has a meaning - why was he not penalised? Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 I thought there was a lot of driving that could be called in to question. But as for the Schi/Massa coming together this was almost the same as I think Lewis or Jenson did earlier in the race and Martin Brundel said yep I think that was OK. Schi covered the middle line on the track his blocking move then at the end of the straight swept to the outside of the track for the right hand corner. Massa was daft for tring to drive round the outside of this corner. As for Schi's other moves they are indefensible but he was not the only one. Quote
Fat Albert Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Scummy by name & scummy by nature Still, it least we now know that all those controversial incidents weren't down to him fighting for wins or championships... he has just as little respect for his peers when 10th as when 1st The first part of the Kubica incident, when he forced Kubica on the grass on what is in effect a straight, was as bad an example of driving as I've ever seen in F1! The subsequent double off at the chicane was more down to red mist from Kubica having just been treated with such contempt while the Massa incident was typical Scummy! Oh and who says F1 is boring?, I needed a tranquilliser after 2 laps Quote

Anyway as far as I'm concerned the other drivers are just guests on Schumacher's track anyway so people need to pipe down. TBH I think if you stuck Hamilton in that Mercedes he's be a good few tenths slower than Schumacher. Quote
