Hi Guys.

Any ideas how to stop my tyres rubbing the body on full lock?Also has anybody got a set of nut covers (for sva) going cheap?

Lock stops on the rack. If it's supposed to be an SVA compliant rack, then complain to the supplier. If it's not, you can use jubilee clips attached to the rack under the rack gaiters to ensure that full lock is not reached.

I just bought an Mk 2 escort from my local factors for £20 now need 2 jubilee clips

Sound cheaper than Westfield

Yes, muddying the waters slightly with that comment.

Basically, wheels touching the bodywork would be an SVA fail, and bl**** dangerous..........

I couldn't tell if this car is already registered, or is in the process of being built, hence my comment :)

A standard (or even quick) rack from a "normal" motor factor won't be SVA compliant, so lock stops will be required.

Many thanks for the info.Have got a part built SEI.Hav'nt a clue where the rack came from so i guess its the jubilee clip route.
