I use local motor factors for parts, mail order for specialist parts, and do most of the work myself. Do you have a problem, or are you just preparing? John will be along in a mo' to extol the virtues of Pro Tune in Barnet, and I'm not going to disagree. Rob is a very accomplished engine builder and engineer, and a Speed Series sponsor to boot. Take a Club membership card and get 10% off........... There's also Red Line (I think) in Iver (rolling road/tuning), Vulcan engineering in Hanwell (engine specialist, but not my favourite). If you want to have anything other than "basic" tuning done, travelling to one of the specialists around the country is well worth the effort. But not sure if I am just too used to modern engines (audi turbo engined co. car every day). Mine is a Crossflow with twin carbs (delortos I think).
