stephenw Posted March 26, 2002 Share Posted March 26, 2002 About 6 months ago I bought Westfield SE (1993) Q686 UKG from a dealer in Yorkshire. Does anyone know any history of this car or it's current engine - 1700 X/F (apparently upgraded from its original 1300cc effort!. The car is dark blue (white nose) and at the time of purchase was fitted with swept wings (not any more). Myself and a good friend (another Westy owner) will be embarking on the 700 mile round trip from Central Scotland to Stoneleigh in May and I thought it might be a good idea for anyone with info. on my car to step forward now and save me the embarrasment of shouting about the car (under the influence of a few medicinals in the beer tent! I got my Westie about the same time, without much history on the previous owners. A few meetings later and I found out that it was a championship winning car in the hands of Steve Broughton (of SB Developments) in 1995.
