SEiGHT
I scraped two of my alloys against a kerb, right on the rim. In fact so close to the rim that I took a nice big chunk of rubber off too I've just had a bloke round to try to repair them. Fair play to him he said he could do it, but thought that the repair was likely to come off as soon as the tyres were changed Tried to get some replacement alloys, but found out that this design was discontinued in 2000 They are Team Dynamics Cosmos 15" as supplied by factory and should look like this when new: As I can't get hold of these new, does anyone know of any good places to get second-hand, or end of line alloys ? peterg
there's a company in/near Slough that specialises in new/used alloys that I found doing a web search last year but I can't find it just now - if I find the details I'll post them here - try a search using Google you might be lucky. JamesD
I know this design is dicontinued but when I was looking for alloys at the beginning of the year I definatly came upon this design. I suggest you buy a mag like Revs and start scouring, there are quite a few companies specialising in end of line alloys like SWT (South West tyres). If I get chance tonight I will try and dig up a few suggestions for you... Regards, James
Roo4
Try Ian Jemison Engineering near York. www.alloywheelrepairs.com tel 01904 703 863. He did a good job on the wheels I bashed while rallying a Nova. regards Iain
