can anyone help, i want to fit ao32r's on my pre lit 185 60 13 on the front and 205 60 13 on the rear.I have 205 60 13 's all round at the moment having recently purchased the car the wheel size is 7 by 13 can i put the ao32r's on these wheels? also i have a terrible noise coming from the rear of the car while the steering is turned when i pull away a clunking sound can be heard does anybody havs any ideas ? desparate rookie.

205/60's on a 7x13 rim will fit as long as the offset "right". As you already have 205's, I don't see a problem. IMO a 7" rim is the optimal size for a 205 tyre.

Clunking noise only when turning could be something as simple as driveshaft slack/lsd slack being taken up. If you don't have an LSD, I'd start checking shock absorber and wishbone bushes and mounts. After that, move on to wheel hubs/bearings, then diff output bearings.

Sounds like your propshaft is touching the chassis on cornering. Adjust your panhard rod to move the diff nose away from the chassis or check that your diff / propshaft flange are 3 and 3/8" diameter and not larger.

My prelit did the same, it was the axle fouling the tranamission tunnel. Also look for the O/S wheel fouling the wheel arch. Its common apparantly, " they all do that sir"

thanks for the replies  will let you know what happens , can i put 185 60 13 ao32r's on 7 by 13 wheels ? does anyone know a good company who can set my suspension up and tune my engine in the south east ? cheers again.

Yes 185/60x13 can be fitted to 7" rims. Cant help with the set up in the se but if you fancey a trip to Cornwall i would be glad to help.
