What to do if local WSCC group isn't local ?

Apparently my "local" WSCC group is Cheltenham & Gloucester because I have an Oxford postcode I assume. However, I'm the "wrong" side of Oxford (in Bicester), which is only about 20 mins blast to Milton Keynes.

Is it OK just to get this changed, or are there other factors to consider i.e. some groups are over-subscribed  :D  etc. ?

Sounds like your local group would be Herts Beds and Bucks, who meet at Little Brickhill, near MK. Windy is the AO, and I hope he'll be along in a mo' to correct any glaring errors. It's actually my "local" area, but it isn't that local, especially after work (2nd Thursay is meeting night, I think), so I go to the recently resurrected Thames Valley area meet, which is on a Sunday on the A4 near Maidenhead.

Go to the homepage, click the events link, and scroll down until you see an area that might suit you.

Seight

You can go to any WSCC local meet of your choice - its just that when stuff is sent out the Memb Sec. try's to assess everyones nearest meet by postcode, not always the best way perhaps, but its a starting point.  ;)  :D  :)
