Nick Algar - Competition Secretary
Hello All In between rallies etc would it be possible for me to enter as a guest on certain events in class J or do I have to register for the championships? Thinking Harewood, Easter Sprint and Curbourough? Many thanks Funbob Pop the form and the cheque in the post and the job's done If you don't register you are very unlikely to get an entry as the clubs give precedence to competitors registered with one of the championships competing on the day. Remember how quick you had to be with some events last year

Always intended the mini to be a bit of a Swiss Army knife!!

Crazy Eddie
Never done this before so please don't shout (Mark ) Is there anywhere I can find the costs for this please - mainly each event cost / rough idea per event and with a roadgoing megablade what class would I be in? The beginers guide on the website is 2006 but is it all still valid? Cheers Eddie

Other costs are the consumables and mods needed for scrutineering. Tis well worth the money IMO (cue debate about the various forms of motorsport or car fun and their relative values). Mark Stanton
Beginners Guide is kinda o.k ............... got some updates to undertake for beam breaker size and odds and ends Perhaps easiest thing to do is read Beginners Guide and Speed Series regulations and then ask any Q's To be honest you probably won't be asking anything any different to that of anyone in their first season Step forward Mr Hawkins, Mr Ord and Mr Cox

Nick Algar - Competition Secretary
Teken from 2008 rule book General 67. Timing Struts – Where timing is activated by a light beam, the vehicles will be fitted at the front with a vertical timing strut, minimum vertical height 254mm, the bottom of which shall be not less than 180mm and no more than 200mm from the ground. The strut will be in matt black on both sides, over its total area, which shall be not less than 254mm by 51mm. No other, or further forward, part of the vehicle may interrupt these dimensions or actuate the timing. Hope that helps
