RTFD = Read The ****** Drawing (usually said to Contractors and quantity surveyors)

RTFS = Read The ****** Specification (usually said to Contractors, Quantity Surveyors and sub contractors)

It's at the end of certain threads.

It's at the end of certain threads.

It's a "tag". They are generally there when a thread sub-topic is added (see the pinned post at the top of the "Cars For Sale" area), or if a thread is moved from another area by one of the moderation team, such as the one about scams you accidentally started in the Cars For Sale area and was then moved to the Chat area.

It means the thread is locked and you can no longer post on it. I think only the thread originator can do it.

Sorry, no, but I can understand the confusion, very similar looking - look at the top two pinned thread here and you'll see the subtle difference :)
