Just out of interest when is the car reaching these temps?

If just when stationary and you want reassurance then I would recommend the over ride switch (puts my mind at rest )

If when driving around then naturally I would be looking at other coolant issues such as thermostat for example because should be lower when driving (sorry if all seems like telling you how to suck eggs )
