Tony Hughes
SVA approaching rapidly ... Need to fix a minor water leak from the Zetec water temp sender (Caerbont clocks) - sender was cracked - probably due to me over-tightening it trying to fix the leak. I think the problem occurred due to the earth ring getting trapped in the threads of the sender. Anyway I now have to replace the sender - what's the best way to ensure no leaks from the new one - anyone recommend a good thread sealant? Should PTFE tape be used? I am planning to earth the sender somewhere else to keep it out of the threads. Cheers, Tony
