THE LAST WESTFIELD I HAD RAN 6.5" X 7 X 15" TSW ALLOY WHEELS WITH A 15MM OFFSET. THE CAR WAS LIVE AXLE. IM BUILDING A MEGABLADE WITH A LIVE AXLE BUT DONT WANT THE SAME WHEEL DIMENSIONS AS THE LAST CAR I HAD LOOKED VERY NARROW AT THE BACK. THERE WAS A GAP OF ABOUT 2 INCHES TO THE REAR ARCH. I WANT TO GO FOR A 15" DEEP DISH WHEEL FOR THE BLADE BUT CAN ANYONE ADVISE ON A MORE SUITABLE SIZE WIDTH. THE ONLY THING STOPPING ME GOING TOO WIDE IS THE TRAILING BAR BETWEEN THE CHASSIS AND WHEEL. I DONT WANT IT TO RUB ON THE TYRE. A DEEP DISH WHEEL SHOULD IN THEORY BRING IT NATURALLY OUT WIDER THOUGH?? ANY ADVICE PLEASE.

Firstly. DON'T SHOUT!

Second, the bike engined cars come with 13" wheels and this is IMHO because of the gearing etc. 6" or 7" rims with Yokohama A032r tyres seem to be the fave fitting

Have a chat with the BEC guys for more info - do a search on this forums archives for their website address.
