After speaking to Stuart C (i think) last night at the Cheshire meet, i am thinking about having a look for some 13" wheels and some Yoko A032R's.

Can anybody tell me the cheapest place to buy from, in Cheshire??

Thanks :t-up:

Why Cheshire? With our cars, you can't limit the market place like that.

George Polley will be unbeatable for 13" rims and AO32's, and have a well deserved good reputation for service.

Wasn't me. However have to agree with Blatman. George Polley Motor Sport is where I got my Tyres. They deliver to you for next to nothing.(recommended by Blatman)

I've just got a set of mini-lite style rims with A032r's for £500 from Jonny who runs Book-a-track com trackday company, this was about 2 weeks ago and he still had them available.

If you log onto and send Jonny a BatMail, I'm sure he can help.

I had my set bourght to a trackday at the lotus test track in norfolk, bolted them straight on, and smiled lots as they grip like glue:D .......  then i cried cause the engine let go halfway thru the day :(

hope this helps.

As it takes days for the ads to appear on here.

I'm selling a set of R500 MBE magnesium split rims with a either part worn or brand new Super Soft A032s on there. The rims are 6.5x13s, unpainted centres. Supplied with the R500 wheelnuts. £598 with part worns, £675 with brand new.

A lighter rim ye will have trouble to find.

Graeme.

Jasong - I feel for you dude.  A032R's + Donnington = lunched engine.

I suppose a good bit of advise is that if your are considering stickies (ACB10's, A032R's, slicks and the like) for track use make sure that your oil system is up to it as the cornering/braking forces will be far higher than on standard road tyres.

It is about to be a very expensive lesson for me as not only do I have an expensive engine to repair, I also need to go to a dry sump system to prevent this happening again in the future.

Try here for good lightweight wheels. They also supply tyres and have direct contact with here for supplying them fitted to the rims as a package.

That's worried me now.

I was all set to order some 032s but is my oil system up to them? I run a crossflow with shallow, baffled Westfield (I think) alloy sump and an uprated pump (ID unknown).

Would I be safer getting some A539s and enjoying a good goon rather than ultimate grip?

You have got me worried about Oil surge now, i've not got a baffeled sump, just standard, any reccomendations on how to avoid the BIG BANG   :0  ???  :(

Ive still got 15" rims with 195/50's but these seem to work OK.

HELP ???

Just weighed my 15" rims & tyres 2'stone 8'pounds which is 36'pounds = 14.5Kg ?

Does anybody know how much a 13" Minitor with A032R's weighs? I belive the wheel is 4.5Kg.

Ta ;)

Actually your wheels are nearer 16.5kg each, which is about what my 15" rims weigh.

My 13" rims with ACB10s weigh 9.5-9.9kg, so add about another 1-1.5kg for A032Rs.  You should save around 20kg of unsprung weight in other words.
