Big Ads Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Went to the Westfield factory on monday 18th and ordered my new starter kit, gone for a SEi in black with aero screen, detachable rear aches, 40mm lower seat mounting braket, 1800 Zetec with Westfields EFi system and MT75 gear box, gets delivered on 7th september. I dealt with Simon Westwood who I found very pleasant to deal with, there was no hard sell, he knew what he was talking about and I got 10% off everything I bought as there is a special offer on this month. The Factory tour was really good and I got to see one of the Technitions fitting the same EFi system that I am having, straight out of the box, into the car and it started first time without any setup. Got to drive the same car I'm building just without the aeroscreen. The lower seating position is fantastic, it gives you loads more leg room and if you did have a windscreen it enables you to see frow the screen rather that looking striaght at the the top cross beam of the screen. Anyway, really just wanted to say thanks to Westfield and Simon Westwood for a really good day and I can't wait to start the build. Quote

You will have fun/frustration building but help is on hand here and at the factory, you will get to know Mark Walker quite well . Good luck with the build, as Kerry says expect to be talking with Mark Walker a lot - top bloke though V. helpful as are the 2 guys in stores John. Quote
