furtive 0
I have a 1990 SEi (skinny bloke version) and need new rear dampers. I need to know the length of them fully extended and fully compressed. Does anyone know what it is? Cat Motorsport said that Westfield used 2 different lengths (I am assuming one for the wide body and one for the narrow body, but am probably wrong) Or, am I going to have to take them off and measure them myself? Andy @ Cat 0
Hi furtive, All you need to do is jack the back of the car up and measure the distance between the top and bottom damper mounting bolts. This will tell you the open length. Let us know the measurement and a set of shiny new dampers will be winging there way to you. Nice Christmas present for yourself.
