felters
You couldn't make a new car for that price... who is it?
DickieB
Don't go for 17 inch alloys - 15 are big enough

Westfieldman
Would think in will be on a "Q" plate for that moneyonly down side is if you have a private plate you want to fit You may or may not get ameture build status if he builds them for a living so emmissoins could be as for the age of the car
peterg
I'm with Felters on this, I can't see how he could build a car for you for that and make any kind of profit...even for someone who has built a few there's at least 100-150 hours labour and figuring in £1k profit per car that means the bits would have to come to less than £5k
JonnyBoy
is it brand new? doubt he has more than one available.. sounds like someone who either built one and got bored.. built one badly and wants to get rid, or the builder just ran out of cash before completion and had to sell it on. I'd probably sell mine for 9.5k
markcoopers
Check it is a westfield chassis, or indeed a westfield full stop. Sound stupid, but it has been done and passed off before. Also, is it new, or a rebuilt chassis? It's one thing to say SVA is included, but if it's registered and has an MOT when you collect, and he tels you that they keep the certificate when it's registered, you aint going to know if it was or wasn't Mark
Darrell O'Neill
Is there an easy way to ensure its a westfeild chassis? number/code etc?
Mark Stanton
Check it is a westfield chassis, or indeed a westfield full stop. The way I read it .............I don't think he's actually got a car .......... more that he would build a car to that spec for that price Is £9500 including all parts and kit if yes then it sounds cheap perhaps too cheap If that is just labour costs with kit and parts extra then it works out at approx £79.00 an hour based on 120 hour build time
perksy
Can't See how he can do this for £9500 and still make a few quid If He's built others ask to see photos, and speak to some of His customers. Be Careful about handing money over in Advance
