Watched this which was brilliant!

 

"Weber DCOE, Part 2B Selecting jets and venturi's - YouTube" There are other parts, good watch.

 

I'm based in Glossop.

 

Not picked up the car yet as I'm nearly finished with my carport. Just getting all my ducks in a row 🙂

Carbs were like one of the dark arts to me! 😂

 

Glossop! Hopefully we'll get to see you on one of the regular Peaks meets when you have it running then 👍

Im 6'1" so got a few issues with fitting in it and my knees to overcome first lol.

 

If i take the seats out im fine. (still very tight tho)

I'm blessed with the same lanky frame, I switched to the same kind of seats to be able to fit (buckets were a no-no)

Wasn't enough on its own, but a smaller steering wheel (11") helped a lot, and I've also worked on the pedal positions to gain circa 35mm lengthwise.

U might be right about the steering wheel. Gonna put a 40mm space on it which might help. Does anyone know if it can be raised about 25mm. I believe the column is from a mk2 escort which was the donor car.

Hi Fordi ,  welcome to the club ,  a proper classic low nose with clams and xflow , what’s not to like ,  good luck with the rebuild , looks fab
