Sponsors and traders

I was looking for one of the club sponsors today and as I couldn't remember the name I struggled to find it.

To make things easier and to potentially put some more business to our clubs sponsors, could we not have a page with all of our sponsors with what they do/provide including links?

I saw the page that scott had compiled but doesn't seem to be up to date as some of the newer traders aren't on it.

The other way is to keep refreshing the forum webpage in your browser and it cycles through the banner ads.

I agree more/better visibility wouldn't be a bad thing. Some such as WSC and Rednop1, post regular updates/offers in the https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/forum/76-wscc-sponsors-traders/

The club sponsors are all listed on the website.

Now that's what I was on about!

However I generally only ever use https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/ as my club home page and there's nothing within the forum itself. Surely that page could be transplanted into the forum for better visibility?

on the forum you can simply search the member database for traders and sponsors

like this

Traders - WSCC - Community Forum

Sponsors - WSCC - Community Forum

My home page isn't the same as Steve's, but I agree, currently I only see one advert at the bottom of my 'home' page, if I then click on a particular post I then may see one perhaps two ads per page in between posts, I would not be offended if more ads were visible ( not something I would normally say)

Thanks Mark. The point I was making was its not something that ideally we should have to go searching for?

I'm a member of other forums and they have a trader/sponsor section with them all listed. Each of these is a sort of sub forum where that trader can announce new products and offers etc. Keeps them all in one place and all together and visible.

Just a thought and appreciate this is growing legs but when you look at the traders and sponsors section it is a bit jumbled with all the posts in the same pot.

We have a traders section, but the reality is, only a handful create and keep their their own threads updated. After that it would fall to a very, very small number of admins to do it, in and amongst everything else.

Yes, it is something I am looking at, but due to the way the forum and main website are separate domains not easily done.
