Hi I have got a 1.6 16v Toyota 4age engine in my Westfield but sounds like the bottom end has gone so I have dropped the oil and there’s bits of metal in there, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any engines for sale or a company that rebuilds them as raw have stopped doing them.
Thanks

I know of someone that was talking about selling up a Westfield project that's stalled and has a 4AGE to go in it.

Where are you from?👍

Not far then,the car is in Whittington Shropshire.

I've asked him for a spec list and a price.

Its had head work,cams and fitted with a ITB kit he imported from USA that I know of.

Foz are you running a winged sump ?

My first one from RAW wasn’t and that killed the engine.

You need to get that sorted before fitting the new engine.
What you have will cause oil starvation on hard cornering.
The new engine may have a winged sump.
Got mine from RAW. Not sure if they still do them. Give me a shout if you need more info.

This is off the bloke with engine,have asked him for a price but no reply yet;

'engine as follows, it's the 5 rib block which is the strongest block, it has a forged crankshaft. The engine looks really good inside. The head has been ported for best flow, it has brand new piper cams which are the biggest lift and duration you can have without having shim under bucket followers. The cam wheels are black micro adjustable billet aluminium. There are a full set of Toyota throttle bodies that have been bead blasted and sprayed gold from America that were used on the formula Atlantic race series. There is a proper custom aluminium manifold with fuel rail and jets. To be honest I can't remember it all'

With that kind of spec you would be looking at 1500

Including the ITBs?
