I'd love to give the westy a run at cadwell. Can't see any specific car/ clothing requirements on their web site. In view of recent post re fire resistant clothing re are there any specific clothing requirements for this event? Also how strict are the noise limits at cadwell ? Not sure whether I can meet 105db.

( I emailed the organisers this morning but still waiting a reply)

It will be full face helmet and legs/arms covered in a 7 type vehicle.

105 static is very very loud and I would think you would be OK. Cadwell is quite fair when it comes to noise.

Would be nice to see you out

You’ll be fine @neptune if you have a 6inch silencer. Mine was 100db but it’s pretty loud, it was usually 97 before the engine build.

have fun!

So does that mean I need a working rev counter ?

No, you just rev it to 4,500 😁

Honestly don’t worry - they are very friendly every time I’ve been there. I have a digital dash and you have to scrutinise it to find the revs. They never look but can tell if you are totally taking the pee!

Just do what I do & rev it until you think it’s loud enough😉
