Hi All.

Currently wading through the IVA form 1c.

Does the top weight (900 kg) on the VIN plate refer to the Gross vehicle weight or the train weight?

TIA,

Gary.

Train weight is for towing (leave this blank!!)

It'll probably be OK, but the gap between the end of WSEI and the start of CTX looks big enough for another character, which is technically a fail.

Section 18

"Note 4: The spacing of characters must be such that no additional characters could be added at a later date."

You really don’t want to be displaying a vin number on a public forum - maybe I’m paranoid but I’d be wary!

Thanks Chris. I'll hide this post now I have an answer.

@corsechristhere is actually a number 1 in that gap, but it is very faint. The camera hasn't picked it up very well, but in the right light, it is there.

I thought I saw a hint of something in that gap but wasn't sure.  A re-stamp is wise I think. Yo could probably achieve that with careful use of a flat blade screwdriver for the vertical and some small 'thing' for the bar? Save sending it off??  Unless you have stamps of course ;)

I might try to "flat blade" it. Unfortunately, I don't have any stamps.
