Westfield Carbon silencer for Mega S2000 SOLD

A used, (approx 17000 miles), carbon silencer for the Mega S2000, it's in generally good condition cosmetically, but shows the signs you'd expect for the miles and several European tours. Thankfully the upper, visible surfaces of the carbon and stainless are all good. The lower edge of the stainless front looks fine when on the car, but up close shoes the expected slight pitting from normal use. It also, on the underside, bears the inevitable signs of getting a low car with luggage, and ahem, larger driver, on and off ferries etc - you can see where the stainless straps around the carbon have caught and dragged slightly, and wear the carbon sleeve has scuffed along the bottom. Again, these aren't visible in normal use.

 

Performance wise, when last used, normal noise levels, and no rattles.

 

Last time I looked on the Westfield Parts Shop these were between £460 and over £500! However, the Mega S2000 version is not currently listed!

 

I'll throw in the steel mounting bracket, but you'll need to source the bolt, tube and bobbin.

 

£250 delivered, to a Club member, plus delivery, to none members, though collection, (Covid safe etc would be possible).

 

(PS, there's loads of pictures, as it turns out it's really difficult to take a photo of shiny carbon without shadows/reflections, and I was trying to show that the carbon is a nice even colour from front to back!)

Hi Dave, I’m really trying to resist the shiny carbon fibre, but to help me convince myself, can you confirm the internal diameter of this silencer?

Hi Ben, it's for a 2 1/2" bore pipe, I'll measure the outer silencer diameter and length shortly.
