Is anyone able to help? Hi Nick, I suspect you're getting ready to convert to keyless ignition/start? The starter solenoid is only protected by the 60A main fuse on the loom usually mounted on the diagonal chassis rail above either the driver or passenger footwell. Mine is near the water bottle location. If you're following my keyless guide- the fuse A5 is used by my design to power the relay used for the starter. Hence it will stop you cranking once you've completed the mod, if you remove the fuse, but with the factory wiring with the ignition switch, pulling the fuse won't stop you starting! The factory fuse designation above, shows B4 as Engine/Ign. This is the power to your ECU, so will stop the car running/starting. Does this help?
