Well done @TomW Let's get it registered in time for the end of Lock down 2.0!

Well done @TomW you should feel justifiably proud of yourself.  Hopefully it’s given you a sense of accomplishment you’ll enjoy every time you look at and drive it. :) 👍

Congrats on your pass. I'm jealous! Can I ask what the symptoms of the emissions failure were? What were your failing Lambda and /or HC's. Do you have the failing values to hand?

Thanks,

David.

Out of interest after an IVA fail, do you return at a later date and they just check the failed items? Or go through it all again? Thanks

Just to add to this that you have to be careful with what you say to the tester,  With my brakes the tester asked what was done to resolve the braking issue,  told him new pads.  If they ask the question "did you touch the hydraulic circuit"  if you answer yes to that they will redo the entire braking section of the test.

I've included one of may failed emission tests,  the tester did 3 that day,  you'll have a very low HC and CO value as i did on all mine,  it generally means air is getting into the system.  if you want to check it then a water spray bottle with some washing up liquid sprayed on the joints works,  you'll need to be quick though as it soon boils off!
