Can’t comment on the OP reasons for selling, but in real terms (aside from the filler advantage) the Quaife item is bigger and heavier than the original Ford part!

But it also stiffens and strengthens the gearbox, includes a decent filler, too...

Don’t panic Andy 😀

When I bought the Tracsport gearbox didn’t seem right to fit a Quaife cover. So I bought the Tracsport one. Just a bit OCD. 
Also the Tracsport version has a breather instead of the filler. Thought this might help with oil leaks. 
I always fill the box through the side using the Sealey syringe, as recommended on here.
