Following a small accident at the infamous Doune hill climb  months ago i was  forced to rebuild the rear of my Westfield XTR2 

 

 

 

 

was doing about 90mph and missed my breaking by 30 meters

Zero support from Westfield so I have made a comprehensive  jig for the rear of the car

I think body moulds are still around. It was mentioned in a thread last year by Ash I think

Good Progress over the weekend , I will get it in paint this week then on to front end damage

It’s hard to tell for sure from the photos but is there definitely good weld penetration on the suspension mounts?  I can’t see any discolouration at all from above and thought I bc would.

been rubbed with Scotch brite prior to paint , to remove crack test paint prior to finish paint ,
