Megabusa Turbo

K17 CAR

Recommended Posts

I have entered this years speed series and if it doesn't sell then that's where I'll be however there is a car for sale I'm drooling over so I could be easily tempted.

Breifly, the engine was originally built by Holeshot and was for a while his car, I purchased it just over 2 years ago, during the first season with Javelin it quickly became apparent it was a bl**** quick road car but when pushed had gremlins, to that end a complete new engine loom was fitted by Tour De Force (they specialise in F1 electronics) over last winter the engine was completly refreshed by Tony Smiley (SP Drag Racing & a member here) as a precaution, I only had the vendors word for true engine spec.

Last year 2019, the car came second overhaul in the Javelin Sprint Series and was quickest kit in 7 of the 8 rounds missing out by just 0.02 of a second on the other (3 sisters a circuit I had never driven) the car ran faultlessly all year.

The car is correctly Road registered currently sorn, I have just purchased front lighting and a AB electric reverse, front lighting for MOT electric reverse too satisfy road going MSUK regs. The registration K17 CAR will stay with the car, value £2k.

engine, very brief list, it does have all the right bits, 2007 Hayabusa, lock up clutch, SBD dry sump, Carrillo rods, longer 5th & 6th gear, 12mm head & case studs, hd output shaft, garret race turbo, charge cooler, syvecs ecu, room for 12 maps currently as 3 switchable maps 285 & 350 bhp avaible on pump fuel, for fun we tried race fuel and stopped at 440bhp, I ran 285 BHP in all 8 rounds last season.

siltec wide front, valved for car procomp dampers, aim gps dash, freelander 3.21 diff with quife atb, stupid amount of wheels/tyres including crx's, revolutions.

Take it away on an almost new Woodford single axle trailer, £21k bargain, that's a £2k trailer & £2k reg plate included in the price!

its for sale for as long as the car I'm drooling over is avaible.

I hope it doesn't sell mate because I'm looking forward to seeing you in the Speed Series! 😀.

Having said that it is a well sorted car with a brilliant motor (takes a bow) and well worth the asking price. It would be really interesting to see it competing amongst us.

Good luck with the sale

Tony
