Carbon NV Wide body diffuser (non FW)

This carbon-nv designed full-length diffuser weighs in at just 1500g and is contoured around the rear wishbones, so no need to chop sections out in order to make it fit.

Was £270 new.

I'll include my bonnet pin quick release system and nylon mounting block and aluminum plate setup system I made up too.

This did suffer an off and one of the counters around the wishbones was repaired. This was re-done in carbonfibre and has stiffened it from original. This was done by an Aerospace engineer. You can see the repair when it isn't fitted but not when it is. Weave is different. Otherwise fantastic.

£220 collection preferred. Can travel to assist. Bristol based.

Sorry not the best photos! Can/will get some when you message/reply with interest and I'll put them up here too.

Assuming you mean the first time fit. I’ve done the majority of the ‘faff’ so the new owner would need to:

- fit the C-Clamp/Aluminum sheet arrangement - its 5 nuts.

fit the two rear Quick release bonnet catch bolts - drill two holes into the GRP and tighten.

- slide it in

OR if you wanted to do a fixed setup and not use the quick release method then 4-5 holes, rivnuts/nut/bolt into underside aluminium floor plate plus a few at the rear.

As always the job is fairly easy - I’m no pro and have standard tools - but its access to the underside which makes this all the more painful. I bought a pair of garage drive on ramps like these to I had as much headroom as possible. A pair of jacks and axel stands maybe enough. A pit or scissor lift would make it easy as!

In short - this diffuser is no easier/harder to fit than another except I’ve got the ‘fit kit’ for this to be removable with slots and holes cut and ready to go. The measure twice cut once has 95% been done by me and is reusable.

It’s the underside space and access which makes it difficult. Depending upon what you have to work with.

Is there any reason why this would not fit a car with a live axle. Many thanks.

Unsure Dave. I don't know how different a live axle is at the rear with regards to clearances. That would be the only thing that would stop you - if the Bottom wishbone sits at a steeper angle. No issues otherwise.
