Speed series Advice wanted

Hi

I'm looking into competing in the 2020 speed series as a novice in the road going class 1800 and above. Would plan to do 6 rounds.

I have a few questions:

Is a Hans device now compulsory?

What tyres are recommended? What do you guys use ?

I read the two seats can be fibre glass but fixed.

I expect the harness, race suit and helmet has to be in date?

Thanks in advance

Paul

You can PM your phone number to me and I will call you but its quite simple

You do not need a Hans Device for a Road Going class but most of us use them

The seats can be fibreglass or carbon fibre if you can afford them

Harnesses do not need to be in date but the overall's and helmet must be in date and have a life specified in the Motorsport UK Blue book

Tyres must be list 1A or 1B

I have sent you my phone number

Tyres need to be from List 1A or 1B for road going (at the moment) it may change next year but probably not!

Look forward to seeing you out and about nrxt year!
