Black Country October Meet/Xmas meal news

Hello All,

A Couple of things to mention.

1st the October meet is coming up and is scheduled for Sunday 6th.

2nd Christmas is approaching, traditionally the group has held it's Christmas meal on the first Saturday of the month which would be the 7th, like last year this clashes with my works Christmas do so I can't make that date.

The year before last I arranged as normal only to find almost no one attended. As there was a clash last year and I did not arrange a meal. I am therefore gauging opinion as to what to do this year and when to arrange.

As I see it we have a few options.

  • Hold as normal on Saturday the 7th, though I won't be there.
  • Hold a week early on Saturday 30th November.
  • Hold on the normal 1st Sunday of the Month. Sunday 1st December.

Before I book I need some idea of your preferences and then some numbers, if you have a preference please let me know if you'd like to attend please let me know. Once I have some idea of numbers I'll confirm which date has been picked so I can get a firm idea of numbers to make a reservation.

Hope to see you on Sunday.

Thanks

Rhett

Location Sunday August 6th, 7pm at the Dudley Arms, Himley. DY3 4LB.

See you this evening!

With regards to Christmas, any dates suggested are ok for us but I would suggest that you make it a date that you can make!!!

I'm free on the 1st December Rhett. I agree with Martyn, would be better to hold the meet on a date when your are available. Especially to help guide me through the first few meetings :)

Unfortunately, no can do the 30th as attending WSCC Speed Series Awards Dinner.
