Type 9 uprated gearbox wanted.

Well my bhg e6 failed yesterday. Anyone got an updated t9 5 speed for sale? Just looking at options before I buy the bits to rebuild/send it off...

What failed Mikey? I can’t help with a box but First Motion are a good alternative to BGH.

It's totally lost all drive in all gears. With the engine idling and pushing it into gear it sounds like its riding the syncros so input side sounds ok, so guess its output shaft failure? Need to get the engine and box out to find out for sure. 😪

For anyone interested... it was the clutch that had failed. Just so happens that it could transmit enough torque to just about spin the input shaft of the gearbox and hence thinking it was the gearbox that had given up.
