I have a thirty year old unregistered Westfield sei, chassis number 89 wse 807. Is there an even older Westy that’s never been on the road yet?

That's impressive . I thought my current one at 20 years old without seeing the road was knocking on a bit.

I thought I would be the winner with 13 years ! 🤣

It would be great to see another early one put on the road.

Good Luck.

I know where there’s an aluminium original 7 that’s been off the road since 84 and not registered

That's a shame, enjoying getting out in mine now.

Early 80's, donor vehicle was a 70's escort, I keep trying to free up time to get her sorted but when you work 7 days a week it's virtually impossible, I keep thinking one day but those days have become years

I'm currently working on my 1995 SEI with a view to getting it registered but it's not been an easy build as I've gone down the 2.0 zetec fuel injected route and will be trying to get it on a current plate. The worst bit is I have no original paperwork for it so I was told by Mark Walker at Westfield that I would need a certificate of origin for it so I am waiting for a reply from him on that subject. I've also just found out that it may require a 17 digit chassis number and currently it has only 11 letters and numbers.

Bought in 2002, so a mere youngster. Getting ready to drill a hole to fit the first ally panel.
