Tow car

I need a new tow car. I have 1800 to spend. It needs to be able to tow 2000kgs. It also needs to be reliable and resonable to tax not like 500 a year. It doesn't need to be fast as I only drive 8 miles a day to work. Any ideas

This is the best tow car I've ever had. I was in your situation few months ago.

And is that **** to drive, that is really cool.

I've had a couple of Honda CRV's .. An old shape 05 one and now a later shape 07 one. No complaints on the towing front. Not sure how much CRV you get for £1800 tbh.

Double cab pickup. Taxed as a commercial so cheap.  Lots of older ones in your budget, most will easily tow 2T and more.

It's bottom end of the market so choose carefully.

the older shape crv is within budget but all of the ones ive seen appear to suffer from chassis corrosion
