nice_guy
Hello, I'm looking for a short manifold in order to fit 40mm dcoes on a 1600 crossflow. The shortes / lowest profile and flattest angle would be best, but I'm ready to machine. I think the best one was made by "Hi-flow" (shows in the casting). (a nameless one is currenlty fitted, 65mm length, 34mm rise, 5° angle, and it's too high) Thanks a lot !
KenP
If you can't find what you want and need to by new have a look here. They can make what you need to get the carbs under the bonnet.
NDS
Have a couple spare from our supercharged project. Will send some photos later today. Do you want them straight or angled? Neil 01738 550005

Neil 01738 550005 I still have a distributor to clear, so it needs to rise "a bit" : a ruler in the picture would help knowing if that fits under my cramped engine bay. I assume straight item was fitted with a fully electonic ignition ? (now I will look at that supercharged engine)
NDS
Please find attached photos of the two inlets I have in the workshop. The first is a regular cast manifold but it has been polished and gas flowed. The second is a fabricated one made for high flow. You can fit a distributor under the manifolds by using a 90 degree cap. They are available from Burtons. The last two photos are of the super-charged crossflow its a monster! running Jenvey throttle bodies , DAT engine management , Huge intercooler and methanol/ water injection. All packaged into a seven . You can see the increase in the inlet manifold angle
