Hello from Belgium

Hi!

After years of searching for a Westfield that fitted my expectations and dreams :-), I bought this car from a Belgian seller specialised in British cars. It's a imported (from England) Westfield SE from 1990 with a crossflow 1600 engine on a weber carb.  The car had a yellow nose, but the seller painted it green.  Previous owner totally rebuild, refurbished the car, it's in brand new condition.

Did a test drive with it and was starstruck, what a feeling  :-).  I'm now waiting to get my licence plate and insurance  so I can start adding some miles on it.

Looking forward to being a part of this community, thanks in advance.

:ww:

I was in town for the Bruges beer festival a few weekends ago. We will be back in summer, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you.

Unless I am seriously mistaken, that is a pre-lit so dates from earlier than 1990 as far as the factory origins are concerned. If it was registered in 1990 then it took the first owner a while to build. Anyway, welcome and congratulations on a good buy.
