Cleaning Brake fluid level switch

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Brake fluid level switch, I took mine apart and it’s so easy to do! 5 mins top.

This was a potential IVA fail so I had a closer look at it.

Remove from car,

Take rubber seal and thread cap off,

Prise off the translucent cap/disc at the very top of the switch ( I used a blunt chisel  )

Now you can see the switch comprising of a brass disc and two contacts, clean the contacts,

Reassemble  and test.

Works like a dream!
