A couple of years ago I was in the position of the other car but with a couple of differences. The oncoming car was a Audi R8 travelling at well in excess of the 40mph limit - I guess nearer eighty - and on the wrong side of a pair of traffic islands. He missed me but only because I braked. That happened on this very same road a mere mile or so south. That footage I sent to the police but too late for a conviction.
