That's a possible option Trev - but to me it seems kind of pointless to go against a load of strangers. I was hoping to put some faces to some club names and enjoy the inevitable badinage that follows when I come last....

This is my thought - they do a D40 open race, which is 10mins quali immediately followed by a 30 min race. No minimum numbers required so we can relax on the total karters needed, but could incorporate our own 'WSCC Awards' alongside the on the day ones. Maybe give it another couple of weeks and then make a decision?

This has gone a bit quiet.  Do we have the numbers to make it viable or are we going to pull the plug.  I don't know about others but I would lose interest if it is not wscc and close friends only.  I don't really fancy making up numbers in another session

Agreed David, I’ve not got the inclination to  organise that either. Sadly we have half what we need.

If we don’t have a few more takers by end of the month I’ll cancel and refund.
