Before Blyton I  managed to get cellulitis (2nd time) and it did me over...

then been one a holiday with the family, come back for some rest to get over it and BANG another spider bite in the other leg and  cellulitis (3rd time) with a complications of a surface blood clot (refused the blood thinners as I was going overseas and didn't want to be on them whilst out of the country- (Didn't fly)

so not a happy panda!

the week later we took "reggie" the camper van and family to see the grave of my great uncle who died at the Somme 100 years ago to the day also visited. We also went to  Cambrai, passendale and Ypres.

if you every do a road trip it was a wow!

mostly  yes as the main bits sorted....

I still have a fatter ankle and its sore but ibuprofen sorts is they reckon another week and I should be back to normal.

the problem is when it got me... I slept for 36 hours and then took a week of antibiotics and mentally slowed down... its taken a while to get my bounce back

cheers

I flew over the Somme in my microlight back in 2003 and visited the Normandy area including Arromanches. Very moving.
