A friend of mine is organising a charity car show on the 29th July.  It would be good to get some Westfields there.  Details below.

I hope you don’t mind me contacting you.

We are hosting our inaugural car show on 29th July to raise money for the children’s centre at Nevill Hall Hospital and I wondered whether you would consider supporting / helping us by promoting the event to your members. 

Please see below for more details about the event and also a link to the registration page for those wishing to show their cars. 

Motors @ Mamhilad
On July 29th at 10am, The Umbrella Appeal (which is the charitable trust of the Nevill Hall Children’s Centre in Abergavenny), will be hosting their inaugural Car Event “Motors @ Mamhilad” at Mamhilad Park Estate near Pontypool. 

The family fun day will centre around two roped off car parks with space for 200+ show cars ranging from vintage to modern classics and race and rally spec cars. 

We are hoping to offer activities such as bouncy castles, face painting, raffles and live music for families and dream drives, charity car wash and best in show awards for those with petrol in their veins. 

The event is being supported by Johnsey Estates who have given us full use of their gated site. Show cars will need to be onsite from 9:30 - 14:00. There will be no entry charge for show cars and their occupants as we are more than grateful for your time, though any donation is always gratefully received. 

The charity helps fund enhanced services for children and their families such as warm water swimming sessions, workshops, children’s parties and outward bound trips. 

The gated site means that safe marshalling of show cars and segregation from visitor parking will be easily managed. Show cars will also be roped off to protect them.

Due to the yellow weather warnings forecast for this Sunday, we have decided to postpone the event until Saturday 4th August.

We hope that you will still be able to attend the event and support the Children's Centre Charity.

If you can make it on Saturday 4th, you don't need to do anything with your ticket booking. 

If you can't make it? - Please can you log on to EventBrite and cancel your ticket so that we can keep track of numbers
