Day trip to the Nürburgring

TAFKARM

Recommended Posts

I used to go to the Nürburgring regularly, multiple trips a year. Sadly, my last trip was 2016 and my mate Dave hasn't been since 2014.

We've both got the day off tomorrow so decided to head over for a day trip.

The rough plan is this:

Leave at 0600

Tunnel at 0850

Arrive Nürburgring around 1400

Catch up with some old friends, spot of lunch until track opens for TF @ 1715

1715 - 1900 laps!

Head home at 1900 for the 2330 tunnel

Tucked up in bed by 0100.

The weather forecast is hot and stormy.

Happy to keep you up to date on progress if anyone cares.

Wow! That’s a long day, have fun and stay safe, and yes please, keep us updated. (Would be another good one for the Club Magazine, too.)

I predict bright sunshine and dry all day seeing as you are in a tintop :d

We can’t figure out how to reset the odometer so no mileage tracking...

Haha. Yes it’s a pain on the civic. If it has satnav it’s easier and trip A can be set so it resets when you fill up. On non nav models it’s a bit of a hunt through the menus to find it.
