Hi, can someone confirm what list the allowed tyres are from for Road Going Specialist Production Cars and what is the preferred option, thanks.

For true Road Going you can use any in list 1A or 1B from the MSA Blue book

Am I right in thinking that the "AVON ZZR (15156 & 15157)" in the 1B list is only for Caterham's

Not really as long as they are E-marked under this homologation keys.

However they are medium compound and way too hard to be any good on sprinting.

Nangkang AR1 seem to work well

I'll be sticking to my 3 year old Avon ZZS's, not buying any new tryes for this years one event :laugh:

A set is comming for my car for blyton, so will see how they work back to back to toyos, if the weather is half representative, as the car haven't changed since then...

Cant have any more camber in my car without doing custom wishbones.... and is something im not ready to by now...

Are Nangkang AR1 1B or 1C. 

The blue book seems to list some sizes in 1B but not 13"

Are 1b. They didnt had time to include them all in the list but now they are. I asked this... but cant find the mail.

Was chatting to the main tyre guy at Rockingham on Friday, he runs the AR1 on his race cars, they like to run at a high hot pressure apparently - 32 degrees he recommended, around 26-28psi cold.  Thought that was useful info to share.

That's good info @BCF I brought AR1's for this season and couldn't quite get them switched on at blyton a couple of weeks ago and went the other way trying to reduce pressure. I will catch up with you at Silverstone for a conversation about them.
