GDPR Discussion thread

On the whole I would say that most of the data that the WSCC collects from the members is justified and required for the purpose of processing and administering club membership.

I'm Assuming WSCC Motorsports Ltd. will also have their own measures in place and be complying with the GDPR separately to the WSCC as they collect and process their own data separately. But one thing that has always puzzled me in the past is why they required both my vehicle registration number and chassis number when entering the speed series?

GDPR summarised:

'Hi guys, anyone know a GDPR expert?'
'Yeah I've got a good one.'
'Oh sweet, can you give me his email address?'
'No.'
