Tried the auto cal but displayed 'Error' each time. Made sure the sensor is in the correct position using feeler gauge but still Error. Set the pulse to 3660 as per certificate and quick up and down ... no movement.

Checking wiring against wiring diagrams now ... again!

If I don't figure tonight then I will have to postpone IVA

On my wheel sensor there is an LED that lights when made built into the switch, may be work confirming this.

Yep. Looks the same as yours. So either wiring or faulty sensor

If you over tighten the lock nuts they can fail, most likely the wiring though, took me a while at first + the wires from the sensors are really thin and not easy to connect into the westfield loom .

Think ive found it. The wires from the sensor ... I think I've got the brown and black wires the wrong way round ? 20190610_212746.thumb.jpg.acb18b3cbc3cd99441fb487250de3b78.jpg

According to the etb manual the black should connect the yellow/white...and the brown to the green

@Rich201060 thanks for the LCD clue. Obviously it was the cabling. Swapped the brown and black ... all working.

@Dean Goodall thanks for the setup for the pulse and the autocheck ...

I'm off to the IVA test this Friday

Brilliant news mate, so glad its sorted. Take biscuits for the examiner. He may want a photocopy of the speed cal cert from Westfield or just print one off for him.

I would suggest taking a truck load photos of your IVA ready car and post them on a new thread in the IVA forum, this is the best way to get a lot of experienced eyes on your westy.  An invaluable resource when so close to your test.

All the best
