Looks awesome. I really wish you would work a little harder though because I am getting impatient to see the finish product! 😄

Regarding the wire in the trunk, again you could get a nice 3D printed cover; iwould just finish things up nicely I think

great work!

That's right, @ludo, 'cos @KugaWestie is known for his shoddy finishes!

Lovely work there Gary!

You can get some surprisingly stretchy carpets for doing lining jobs like the sides of these sorts or areas. It’s not heavy duty enough to cope with doing footwells, where you’re feet rest, or you walk on, but works great on wheel arches and the like.

Have a look at suppliers of trimming materials for things like VW busses/campers, there are a lot of carpet type products intended for doing the lower side walls, wheel wells etc, that work great for Westfield boot boxes etc.

Google 4 way stretch carpet. It's what's used for camper vans etc..

I am sure this will pay dividends in the future!

PPPPPP especially in the dark and wet by the side of a busy road trying to remember if the alternator was 8 or 9 and 10A or 20A...And who doesn't like a key that is colour coded to the fuse value too (all in the detail, nice).

The car build is on temporary hold for a few weeks while I convert an area of the house to a home office!

As long as it's not one of your garages that's acceptable 😉

I had a spare hour this afternoon so I decided to populate the dashboard. I am really pleased with how it has turned out.
